- Remix OS is an operating system based on Android and it can be installed on Windows and MAC computers. It is created by Jide Technologies and will by publicly available on 12 January 2016. But you can grab a copy a couple of days earlier. But before you go all crazy downloading the OS, lets talk about some of the key features of Remix OS first.
- Remix OS is a free Android version made by Jide, the company behind this operating system. This OS comes with certain basic Android features adding some missing functions that are present for Mac and Windows users.
Remix OS alpha for PC is free to download as of January 12, 2016. This subreddit is for Remixers, the members of the kickstarter campaign, and the facebook group, as well as the general public who are interested in the OS, to discuss the Remix OS, and the ultra tablet, and remix mini. Remix OS is completely free software, so you can use the amazing OS without any pay that is remix OS is free to download, free to install and free to update. It is wonderful, you can get the amazing features without single penny or cost whereas some emulators offer some features for only paid version.
Jide Remix OS Android is a reinvention that provides a desktop window environment as that is driven by Android, to ensure the benefits of the mobile operating system. Its an operating system with productivity features such as office and truly multiple tasking. Installation of Remix OS is very simple, the procedure for installing Remix OS is illustrated below: we recommend that you install the OS on external flash drive that is easier and can be operated in parallel with all other operating systems
Remix OS installation on Hard Disk:
Currently, installation tool only supports Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10, with a minimum capacity of 8GB. Other system users, please install on USB flash drive.
- Download the Remix OS for PC package, which contains the Remix OS for PC ROM & Installation Tool.
- Open the Remix OS Installation Tool and follow the instructions to install Remix OS for PC on your hard disk.
- Reboot your PC.
Remix Os 3.0
For UEFI boot: press special key (F12 for Dell, F9 for HP, F12 for Lenovo, Option Key for MAC) while booting to enter boot menu and ensure that Secure Boot is disabled.
- Select Remix OS in Windows Boot Menu.
Remix Installation on USB Flash Drive:
A USB 3.0 flash drive, with a minimum capacity of 8GB and a recommended writing speed of 20MB/s.
- All data on your USB flash drive will be erased. Please backup the data in your USB flash drive before you start the installation.
- Download the Remix OS for PC package, which contains the Remix OS for PC ROM & Installation Tool.
- Insert USB flash drive into your PC.
- Open the Remix OS Installation Tool and follow the instructions to install Remix OS for PC on your USB flash drive.
- Reboot your PC.
- Press special key(F12 for Dell, F9 for HP, F12 for Lenovo, Option Key for MAC) while booting and enter Boot Menu.
-For UEFI, ensure that Secure Boot is disabled.
- Select “USB Storage Device” under boot option.
- Select either “Guest Mode” or “Resident Mode” to start Remix OS.
Important Note: As per Jedi the Remix OS is not for common user, the version is still under development, it has been launched in January 2016 and since then many bugs has been identified. the OS must be used by persons who don’t bother to see some bug while working or programmer and other advance users. Hope this concept will be furnished in near future.
